Chateau Guillot is a true cult producer in Pomerol and their wines are highly collectible.
With two decades of ageing, the wine reveals complex aromas of ripe plum, black cherry and dark berries, intertwined with notes of truffle, mocha, cedar and soft spice.
On the palate, it is smooth, velvety and well rounded, with supple tannins and excellent depth. The Merlot dominant blend delivers a luxurious texture balanced by earthy complexity and a lingering finish. Elegant and approachable, this vintage is drinking wonderfully now while still retaining structure and character.

Terroir
Most of the hard work it takes to produce quality wine happens in the vinyard. The soil, the climatic conditions, the aspect, the bodies of water and many more factors, collectively knwon as "terroir" can influence the flavour of wine and give wine distint minerality, depth and character.
