2022 Domaine des Perdrix Echezeaux Grand Cru

Le Domaine des Perdrix was not a renowned estate until the Devillard family took its management in 1996. Robert Parker says about this acquisition that it proves the existence of undiscovered great quality terroirs among the Grands Terroirs of Côte de Nuits. The quality of the vineyards, their rigorous management and vinification have established the Domaine des Perdrix as a renowned Domaine, one of the best among the "Grands Vins de Bourgogne".

The 2022 Echezeaux is a stunning wine with generous fruit notes of red cherry, red and dark plums, wild strawberries alongside sweet baking spices, cinnamon drop and toasty characteristics from extended oak ageing followed by earthy minerality. This is a well balanced wine both in its structure and its flavour profile.
