2011 Domaine Trimbach ‘Clos Ste Hune’ Riesling
2011 Domaine Trimbach ‘Clos Ste Hune’ Riesling
Considered one of the greatest dry Rieslings in the world, it is sourced from a 1.67ha plot inside the Rosacker Grand Cru in Alsace, which the Trimbach family have owned for more than 200 years. Trimbach Clos St Hune is a truly iconic wine.
The 2011 Riesling Clos Ste Hune, which Pierre Trimbach compares with the 1983, is super ripe, rich, intense and complex on the nose. On the palate, this is a rich and concentrated, powerful but elegant and balanced Riesling.

Terroir
Most of the hard work it takes to produce quality wine happens in the vinyard. The soil, the climatic conditions, the aspect, the bodies of water and many more factors, collectively knwon as "terroir" can influence the flavour of wine and give wine distint minerality, depth and character.
