The 2010 Troplong Mondot is a very elegant wine that displays a deep, blue-purple colour. On the nose, it reveals subtle hints of vanilla and black cherries and a touch of smoke against a backdrop of nicely integrated oak. Dense on the palate with forest-floor and truffles notes in a velvety mouth-feel. Moderate tannins providing a gentle balance with the concentrated style of the wine.
