Why we are different

We guarantee provenance on all our wines. We do not buy from collectors or auction houses; all our wines come directly from the wineries and are stored in optimal conditions. When it comes to collecting and cellaring wines, provenance is key.

We are a team of qualified sommeliers who are always happy to discuss about wine and offer guidance to our clients on cellaring, food matching, wine investing and educational content on grape varieties, regions, vintages and producers.

Our subscriptions are designed to be both educational and help collectors develop a diverse cellar so we tailor them to one's preferences and direction they would like to explore.

Meet Michael

Michael Skyllas is the founder of SOMM'S CHOICE and he is currently preparing for the Master Sommelier examination. With years of experience as a sommelier leading the wine programs in some of Sydney's most successful establishments, a strong network within the wine industry and his team of talented sommeliers was able to develop a unique wine offering for SOMM'S CHOICE.

Michael is still involved in the hospitality industry by hosting large scale wine dinners as well as intimate wine tasting master-classes where he explains the art of winemaking.
